Stuff for Sale
May 18, 2010
I have a couple pieces of equipment that have either not lived up to expectations (for me) or different technologies have allowed me to replace them so that I am looking to sell. I thought about putting an ad in LMT, but since I’m getting about 2500 views per month here, I thought I would throw the info out on the blog just to see what happens.
First, I have a complete Cerec InLab system including Computer, InEosScanner and MC XL mill with about 900 Dongles I would estimate we did less 1000 units on this mill, most of the zirconia copings. Asking price: $32,500.
Next there is a 3D Systems DP 3000 Pro Jet printer purchased through Rich Motta from CadBlu. We’ve had the printer a little over 18 months, and the maintenance agreement is paid through the end of October 2010. Asking price: $55,000.
Lastly, I have Cercon mill and sintering furnace that were originally purchased in 2001. Probably useful as back-ups for labs that use Cercon. Asking price for both: $3000.
If you have any interest, or know of someone who might, please contact me via email @ rjsaylors@gmail.com
Thanks, Jeff

Hey Im curious to as of why you want to sell the DP 3000 Pro Jet. I have been looking into one , What have you found that works better? From all I have heard it seems like the Projet is the one to get.
Our workload is moving more and more to milled restorations – zirconia, titanium, chrome cobalt – so we’re doing fewer and fewer restorations which require a pattern to be pressed or cast. With the smaller numbers, it has become more economical for us to mill those patterns out of PMMA. I don’t have anything bad to say about the Pro Jet, it just doesn’t suit our needs anymore.
