Sorry to see it go I actually learned some useful info. Where are you going to vent now? Has Kathy approved this move? Because now she is going to have to listen to you when you talk.

I asked my dentist about zirconia bridge and he replied that the problem is that zirconia is too hard and does not wear. Therefore it puts additional pressure onto regular teeth which makes a problem.
He contacted the lab and got confirmation that emax would be good alternative, as per person from the lab who attended some conference where there was talk about that.

Hi Guys,
I've been using B&D Dental for some time now as an outsource for YZ and Titanium copings. They've been on time and on budget! I recently purchased a 3Shape scanner so that I could do the design myself. I offer Ti copings to my accounts as an alternative to High Noble. I'm still in the process of "dialing-in" the fits. So far they are not acceptable. I'm sure I will get there. I use Dentarum Triceram as a veneer. So far, no issues. Titanium does require specific burs to prepare the surface. The material feels soft to grind and is prone to lapping. Dentarum offers these burs but I'm sure they're available elsewhere. To me, Triceram porcelain handles like Vita VMK. If anything it is a little low in value. One side benefit - Triceram can be used on zirconia as well.

Paul - If you're a regular user of Cerec, I probably don't have much to offer. We've only turned the machine on once in the past year, so its all new to me - kind of like recovering from amnesia.

Looking forward to hearing some new info from this event.

Re the jig mentioned, sorry to dissapoint you but this is still very hit and miss.

The jig has to seat perfectly in the palate to get an accurate correleation and this is where things go amiss. Even a fraction out is enough to cant and screw up the veneers. Of course being able to design multi units at a time would help alot but nooooo.. we still dont have this most basic function with inlab.
